Dear Potential New Member,
Welcome to the Eta Lambda chapter of Chi Omega! I couldn’t be more excited to represent this incredible chapter as Recruitment Chair for Formal Recruitment of Spring 2020!
After my sophomore year of college I transferred to American University in search of a sense of home and belonging that I truly wanted out of a college experience. I can honestly say that Chi Omega has given me just that and so much more. From finding lifelong friendships that provide endless love and support, to unique leadership opportunities, rewarding philanthropic events, and exclusive job connections, this chapter has genuinely changed my life for the better. I found some of my absolute best friends through joining Greek Life and I couldn't imagine my AU experience without them!
The Greek community on our campus is comprised of diverse, driven, and accomplished members. The numerous Panhellenic organizations participating in Recruitment alongside us are truly amazing organizations with equally amazing women. While the process of recruitment and the Greek community as a whole may seem confusing and even overwhelming at times, I can assure you that deciding to join a sorority was one of the best decision I have made at college thus far, and I know that all of my sisters would say the same.
Although you may be unsure if joining a sorority is the right choice for you, my sisters and I encourage you to go through recruitment and see all that Greek Life and Chi Omega has to offer. Be sure to check out our recruitment videos below and follow us on our social media sites! On our socials you can learn more about this one of a kind chapter and get updates regarding upcoming recruitment events! My sisters and I look forward to hopefully seeing you all in Recruitment this year!
